The City of Atlanta is the setting for the Life and Health Compliance Association’s Fall 2010 Meeting, to be held from November 3rd through the 5th. Special sessions covering key compliance areas have been planned for the attendees, in addition to scheduled “question and answer forum” opportunities for life, health & accident, and annuities issues. Health topics at this meeting include workplace ancillary health products, a PPACA state update, as well as various discussions on long-term care insurance, including the LTC partnership programs and LTC combo products. Life and annuity topics to be covered include life settlements, and updates on current annuity issues such as stranger owned annuities (STOA), suitability, and disclosures, and associated market conduct issues. Life and health insurance compliance professionals attending this meeting will certainly have an opportunity to share information and gain additional insight on key compliance issues affecting the life and health insurance industry.
